Hermann's love of the Australian countryside is reflected
in the rich earthy tones of his painting.
His family home, located at Kinglake has led him to paint
a number of scenes of the area and the nearby Yarra Valley.
He is an admirer of Streeton, Roberts, McCubbin and the Heidelberg
school in general, but also greatly respects the more modern
artists like the late Fred Williams.
The average rpice for a a painting measuirng 120 cm x 90
cm is $750.
